Richard Shane Langdon

Richard Shane Langdon, better known as just Shane, was born on August 27th, 1961, in Clay County, Kentucky, and departed this life at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky, on November 10th, 2023, being 62 years of age. He was the son of the late Henry Lee Langdon and late Louise (Proffitt/Langdon) Azbill. Shane resided in McKee, Kentucky, for most of his life, the majority of which he could be found there working at McKee Auto Parts. Otherwise he was out and about, camping over at Laurel Lake or traveling the roadways and trails with his dune buggy or Harley-Davidson bike.

In addition to his parents, Shane was also preceded in death by his brother, Roy Lee Langdon.

Shane is survived by his step-father, Raymond Azbill.

As well, he is also survived by the friends that were like family to him: Jeff and Janice Ramsey of Swindling Gap, Kentucky; Jim Ramsey of Winchester, Kentucky; Dallas and Barbara Cox of Indian Creek, Kentucky; and furthermore all his work friends from the parts store, including his longtime boss there, Donnie Smith.

Shane was of the Baptist Faith.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday Nov. 15, 2023 at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee, Ky, with Bro. David Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Manchester Memorial Gardens in Manchester, Ky:
