Wendell Robinson
Wendell Robinson was born September 4, 1947 in Clay County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Orville Robinson and Ruby Napier Robinson. He was united in marriage to Sue Reynolds Robinson who survives of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He is also survived by his three children, Tammy Renner and husband Tim of Mount Vernon, Anita Anglin and husband Daniel of Berea, and Justin Robinson of East Bernstadt; daughter-in-law, Regina of East Bernstadt; three siblings, Roland Robinson, Dan Delain Robinson, and Orville Perry Robinson and wife Brenda all of Annville, Kentucky; Fourteen grandchildren, Amanda Carpenter and husband Jordan, April Yearta, Andrew Vaughn, Jacob Creech and wife Kassidy, Natalie Robinson, Hannah Robinson, Nathaniel Robinson, Ezra Robinson, Olivia Robinson, Zachary Bohman, Alaina Jones, Mikey Sizemore and wife Lauren, Timothy Renner and wife Stephanie, and Samantha Renner; nine great-grandchildren, Kinsley Carpenter, Addisyn Carpenter, Harper Carpenter, Jazlyn Yearta, Roselyn Yearta, Aspyn Creech, Beau Renner, Hudson Renner, and Lucy Renner; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Wendell Jason Robinson; three siblings, Peggy Reid, Edith Reynolds and Sherman Wayne Robinson; two grandchildren, Jimmy Robinson and Isaiah Robinson.
He retired from the Laurel County Road Department, and was a member at Pleasant Valley Pentecostal.
Wendell Robinson departed this life Wednesday, February 7, 2024 being 76 years, 5 months, and 3 days of age.
The funeral service for Wendell Robinson will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Renner, Chris Davidson, and Todd Hignite officiating. Burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky.
