MANCHESTER — One of Clay County’s most anticipated annual events is just around the corner, as Clay County Days 2026 returns May 28–30 with a full slate of activities, entertainment and family-friendly fun, presented by Clay County Tourism and the Clay Fiscal Court.
Organizers are inviting residents and visitors alike to “get ready for a weekend full of fun, music and community,” with events planned across three days in downtown Manchester.
Thursday Kicks Off with Parade and Block Party
Festivities begin Thursday, May 28, with the traditional parade lineup at 5 p.m. at EKU Manchester, followed by the parade stepping off at 6 p.m.
The evening will continue with a block party at 7:15 p.m. behind First National Bank, featuring live music from Red River George, setting the tone for the weekend celebration.
Friday Highlights Music and Milestones
On Friday, May 29, activities begin at 5 p.m. with the opening ceremony, which will include a special recognition celebrating 50 years of Clay County football.

Saturday Packed with Events for All Ages
The final day, Saturday, May 30, offers a full schedule of events from morning through night.
The day begins with a raft and kayak race, with sign-ups at 9 a.m. and the race starting at 10 a.m.
Family activities include the kids parade lineup at 12:30 p.m. at the Clay County Administration Building, followed by the Kids Power Pedal Parade through downtown at 1 p.m.
Also at 1 p.m., arm wrestling sign-ups will begin at the Clay County Fiscal Court tent, with matches starting at 1:30 p.m.A meet-and-greet with wrestlers is scheduled for 2 p.m., followed by wrestling events at 3 p.m.
The evening continues with the 2026 Wall of Fame Induction at 5 p.m., followed by more live music:
