MANCHESTER, Ky. – We now find ourselves at the halfway point in the Lady Tigers season, and they currently stand at 8-8, while being 2-3 within the 13th region. Coach Gemma Parks and the girls now look ahead to a busy week ahead, as one home game and two on the road are in store. Clay County will host Perry County Central, then travel to Harlan and Pulaski Counties.
Perry County Central – The Lady Commodores come to Manchester looking to avenge an early season loss to the Lady Tigers. Clay county previously dominated PCC 68-24 and will absolutely try to do so again to keep the momentum rolling. This game is set to tip off at 7:30PM on Thursday, January 15th at CCHS.
Harlan County – Another chapter will be written about the Lady Tigers and Lady Black Bears on Saturday in Harlan County, as these two programs always go neck and neck when they compete. Harlan County currently has lost three in a row pending a matchup with Belfry and could be riding into town on a losing streak. Clay County will look to capitalize and push their streak longer. Tip is set for 1:30PM on Saturday, January 17th at Harlan County High School.
Pulaski County – The Lady Maroons sit atop an always loaded 12th region, as they boast an 11-5 record and have played a very tough schedule thus far. This will be one of the Lady Tigers toughest tests all season long, and they will also meet again on February 14th in Manchester. This matchup however tips off at 7:30PM, Tuesday, January 20th at Pulaski County High School.
