With Christmas right around the corner, I decided it was time to write the Big Man a Christmas wish list this year. I figured I’d go ahead and share it with you folks, too.
Dear Santa,
Please encourage folks to buy a few Christmas presents from our new distillery. Supporting local goes a long way, especially this time of year.
I’m wishing for the Tigers to win a regional title. I truly believe we have the team that can pull it off this season.
Please bring more out-of-town investors to our town. We could use more new ideas, new energy, and some modern growth.
Help people stay out of other folks’ business and focus on their own lives. We’ve got a pretty serious problem with that around here.
Please keep our intentions pure and our egos in check.
While you’re at it, could we ban social media for anyone under 16—and maybe require all Americans to take 24 hours off social media each week? That alone might fix a lot.
Can we please put an end to all the drama surrounding London politics? Geeesh.
Most of all, I wish for love to be spread far and wide, and for hate to be squashed wherever it shows up.
