MANCHESTER, Ky. – Commonwealth’s Attorney Haley Jo Fields announces the Clay Grand Jury returned eight indictments last week.
-Pacey Estep, 18, of Bear Branch, was indicted for strangulation 1st and sexual misconduct from a March 25th incident where he applied pressure to the throat and neck of a woman until she lost consciousness and engaged in sexual intercourse without her consent.
-Jimmy Dees, 38, of Corbin, formerly of Clay County, was indicted for burglary 2nd, burglary 3rd, receiving stolen property, receiving stolen property-vehicle, in thefts at the home of Nancy Lawson and at Mt. Olivet Church.
-Misty Wagers, 42, of Marcum Street, was indicted for Flagrant Non-Support in the amount of $23,221.75.
-Kelvin Asher, 41, of Gregory Branch, was indicted for Flagrant Non-Support (two counts) for failing to provide support to a minor(s) in the amount of $45,254.71 (count one) and $12, 537.99 (count two).
-Johnathan Brumley, 52, of Annville, was indicted for fleeing or evading police 1st (motor vehicle), wanton endangerment 1st (police officer), when he attempted to flee Kentucky State Trooper Derek Dennis.
-Johnny Johnson, 27, of Jacks Branch, was indicted for sexual abuse 1st when he subjected a child less than 16 years old to sexual contact.
-Danil Dovzhuk, 21, of Loveland, Ohio, was indicted for theft by deception-including cold checks $10,000 or more when he intentionally presented himself as a police officer and took control of $13,000 under deceptive pretenses.
-Clettie McKee, 41, of Curry Branch, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance 1st (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
