COLUMBIA, Ky. – Former Clay County Tiger quarterback Tate Rice is finding success at the next level, as he was selected as the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week award! The Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders quarterback earned the honor for the first time ever after completing 17-20 passes (85%) for 249 yards with four touchdowns in a 37-3 victory over Ave Maria (Fla).
Rice threw each of his touchdowns to four different receivers, with the longest being a 75-yard reception. Tate will be back in action on Saturday with a contest scheduled against St. Thomas Florida at Parnell Stadium. Kickoff is at 3:00PM.
