Hey friends! I hope everyone is doing well. It looks like the snow is finally melting and our kids are back in school. I know this winter has been tough for some folks, but hang in there — warmer weather is right around the corner, and with it comes an exciting year full of opportunities to get out, gather together, and enjoy everything our community has to offer.
As we move into spring and summer, Clay County will once again be filled with events designed to bring families, friends, and visitors together. From longtime favorites like Clay County Days, Makers Markets, the Manchester Music Festival, and our community 4th of July celebrations, to signature experiences like the Shaping Clay Jubilee, there will truly be something for everyone.
What’s especially exciting is how full our calendar is becoming. It seems like every month now features multiple events that families can attend and enjoy together. These events don’t just happen by accident — they are made possible through the continued work and support of the City of Manchester Tourism Commission, local businesses, volunteers, and community partners who believe in making Manchester a place people want to visit and call home.
If you’ve been battling a little cabin fever, now is the time to get ready to break out of it. Winter gave us a chance to slow down, rest, and recharge — but now it’s time to ramp things back up. Our goal is to keep building momentum, bringing new energy to our community, and creating experiences that make people proud to live here and excited to visit.
I can promise you this — we’re working hard behind the scenes to make 2026 one of the best event years Manchester has ever seen. Whether you love live music, local crafts, food, festivals, or just spending time with family and friends outdoors, you’ll have plenty of chances to do just that.
So keep an eye on event announcements, support local events when you can, and get ready for a great year ahead.
See you out there.
Much love, Manchester!
