Roger Edward “Donkey” Sizemore

Mr. Roger Edward “Donkey” Sizemore, age 73 of Manchester was born in Oneida, KY on March 3, 1951 to the late Charlie Sizemore and Rose B. Lawson Sizemore and departed this life on March 21, 2024 at his home. He was a member of Manchester Church of God and enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, Show Horses, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, 3 grandchildren: Shawn Sizemore, Baylor Sizemore, and Jada Harris; 3 brothers: Charlie Sizemore, Lowell Sizemore, and Joseph Sizemore; and 4 sisters: Patricia Wagers, Maxine Sizemore, Wilma Brock, and Elizabeth Hagie preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife: Jeanette Sizemore of Manchester, KY; 3 sons: Michael Wayne Sizemore, William Junior Sizemore and wife Hester, and Timothy Shane Sizemore and wife Darla all of Manchester; 5 daughters: Crystal Davidson and husband George, Sandra Asher and husband Jonah, Charlotte Jones and husband Oscar all of Manchester; Candace Gray and husband James of London, and Hope Jackson and husband Byron of Jackson County; a brother: Dewaine Sizemore and wife Pam of Manchester; a sister: Myrtle Wagers of Manchester; 20 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Mr. Roger Edward Sizemore will be conducted in the Manchester Church of God on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. George Davidson, and Rev. Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith-Sizemore Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Manchester Church of God on Wednesday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
