Mary Amanda Jones

Mary Amanda Jones, 40, of Oneida, Kentucky departed this walk of life on Monday, April 08, 2024 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 26, 1984 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of Darlene Gipson Jones and the late Emmitt Jones. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend.

Mary had a bright personality and was always the life of the party. She enjoyed riding four-wheelers and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her beloved father, Mary Amanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Shelby and Mary Jones, as well as her maternal grandmother Mary Jane Gipson.

Survivors include one daughter Alexzandra Gay of Bear Branch, KY, her beloved mother Darlene Gipson Jones of Oneida, KY, one brother Jeffrey Gipson & wife Tracy of Sizerock, KY, one sister Jessica Carter of London, KY. Other survivors include her maternal grandfather Grant Gipson, Jr. of Saul, KY, a nephew Marcus Gipson & Michaela, two nieces Elounzia Gipson and Shelby Carter, a very special cousin Timothy Gipson, cousins Shannon Barger, Dwayne Gipson, and Trevor Gipson; five special cousins who she loved as sisters Keisha Spurlock & Ron, Mary Ann Couch, Ashley Sandlin & Kenny, Amy Couch and Victoria Lynn Gipson; Special Aunt Paula Hensley. A host of other cherished family and friends also survive.
