SATURDAY, APRIL 20

Walk to End Child Abuse April 20th from EKU Manchester to Rawlings-Stinson Park. Event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free food, drinks, face painting, giveaways, music, inflatables.

-Bike Ride Poker Run/ATV April 20th 10 a.m. starting at the Backstreet Outdoor Adventures Campground behind Oneida Park.

SUNDAY, APRIL 21

Autism Awareness Walk/Event. The walk will begin at EKU Manchester Campus at 1:30 p.m. and end at Rawlings-Stinson Park. Vendor set up will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wear Blue for Autism Awareness.

-Pins & Needles Homemakers Club meets every 3rd Saturday at 10 a.m. Excel Building besides McDonalds.

-The Good Continue Event will be held May 9th at 4 p.m. at the Rawlings and Stinson Park. Free Admission with local vendors, food trucsks, live entertainment, inflatables, face painting, and Barbie Meet & Greet.

-The Tiger and Lady Tiger Basketball Camp for K-8th will be held May 20-22 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fundamental instruction by CCHS basketball players and coaches. Regristration fee is $75, Additional Family Member is $50.

-Card Making Club meets second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Clay Co. Extension Office.

-Clay Cruisers 20 years ‘A Blast From The Past’ July 28th 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. sponsored by the Clay Historical Society.

-Clay County Days Festival May 30th-June 1st in downtown Manchester.

-EKU Manchester New Student Orientation is now open for Fall 2024. All students planning to attend EKU Manchester must register for a Manchester Campus New Student Orientation.

-THE GATHERING, Festival at Oneida Community Park- May 4, 2024 starts at 11:00 a.m.

-Oneida Annual Car Show May 5th, 1 p.m. at Oneida Park. Sponsored by Backstreet Outdoor Adventures Campground.

-Backroads of Appalachia Mountain Tour will be in downtown Manchester on May 18th. All are welcome! Cars, Bikes, Trucks, Offroad, Slingshots, if it has wheels come participate in this show! Event will be from 1-5 p.m.

-20th Anniversary Unity Walk May 5th at 3:30 p.m. beginning at Eastern Kentucky University and ending at Rawlings-Stinson Park.

MEETINGS:

-Clay Board of Education meets regularly on the first and last Monday of each month at 6 p.m.

-Clay Fiscal Court meets the second Thursday at 3 p.m.

-Manchester City Council meets the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m.

-Manchester/Clay County Chamber of Commerce meets the second Wednesday each month at noon at the Community Room above the Clay Public Library.

-Manchester Tourism Commission meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at their office.
