The winner of the 150th Kentucky Derby (right) Mystik Dan ridden by Brian J. Hernandez, Jr., trained by Kenny McPeek and owned by 4 G Racing and Valley View Farm. Second is Sierra Leone (#2) and Forever Young (#11) is third. The winning margin was officially a "nose". Attendance was 157,000 and the race was run in 2:03.2. At 18-1 Mystic Dan paid $39.22, $16.32, and $2.00 to show.
