Gray Receives Woman’s Club Scholarship

The Woman’s Club of Manchester is proud to announce the winner of their 2025 scholarship – Emma Gray.
In addition to her academic success, Emma has contributed to her school and community through a variety of volunteer activities and leadership roles. At Clay County High School, she actively participated in initiatives of FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America), GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs), and Link Crew – a transition program for 9th grade students focusing on orientation, academics, and leadership development. As a long-term volunteer and employee of the Clay County Public Library, Emma has played a primary role in programs such as Mommy and Me and Story Time and represented the library at numerous events. She has also served her community through volunteer work with the Clay County Fiscal Court and Advent Health Manchester.
Emma is the daughter of Terry and Sonya Gray. She will attend Eastern Kentucky University where she plans to pursue a degree in Psychology for Mental Health Awareness.
The Woman’s Club of Manchester is a volunteer service organization whose members work to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage civic involvement. For more than thirty years, the club has supported the next generation of leaders by rewarding their academic achievement and community involvement through scholarships.
