Anthony Wayne “Jai” Bush, 50, of Manchester, Kentucky, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
He was born April 1, 1976, in Beverly, Kentucky, the son of Wayne Bush and the late Ruth Smith Bush.
Jai was a member of Hal’s Fork Holiness Church. He loved gardening, journaling, and going to church.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Wayne and Diane Bush of Elk Creek, Kentucky; his brother, Curtis Bush and wife Lora; his sister, Rachel Bowling and husband Cody; his nephew, Andrew Bush; his nieces, Brooke Bush, Selena Bowling, and AraBella Bowling; his great-nephew, Greyson Wayne Bush; and his special friend, Vickie Hutton Coniglio.
Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Taylor and Susie Bush, and his maternal grandparents, Joe B. and Elizabeth Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Hal’s Fork Holiness Church in Big Creek, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery in Big Creek, Kentucky.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the church.
