Baxter Sizemore, 78, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born on Saturday, August 16, 1947 in Red Bird, Kentucky to Bradley and Adabelle (Jackson) Sizemore. He was a coal miner, farmer and logger. Baxter loved trading and he was a heavy trader. Baxter also loved to coon hunt. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Lend A Hand Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Beulah Hatfield and husband Ralph, Brenda Dunn and Bob, Baxter Dwayne Sizemore and Cira, Crystal Winnes and Timmy, and his fur baby, Bubbles and his fiancée Brenda Gray; these grandchildren: Deanna Smith, Kristin Smith, Brandy Smith, Brian Dunn and Kelyn, Bobbieann Fredrick and Austin and two great grandchildren: Emmett Vaughn and Emyah Carpenter. Also surviving are these siblings: Sylvester Sizemore, Polly Wilson, Mettie Dockendorff and Gary and brother-in-law: Felix Wagers. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Bradley and Adabelle Sizemore, his wife: Barbara Sizemore and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Baxter Sizemore will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 2:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Goose Rock Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.
The Family will receive friends and family after 6:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. on Tuesday at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
