Danny Sam Robertson, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the University of Louisville Jewish Hospital, after complications of recent heart surgery. Danny was born in Oneida, Kentucky, on March 22, 1962, to the late Millard Orel Robertson and Laura Thomas Robertson. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Danny was employed for many years with Washington Penn Plastics and presently, Greenheck. He enjoyed watching University of Kentucky sports and hunting. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Gwynne Kay Couch Robertson; daughter, Samantha Jo Marshall (Brandon); stepchildren, Jamie Jennings (Brian), Jessica Wilson and Justin Wilson; siblings, Betty Jo Thomas, Elizabeth Farmer and James Terry; grandson, Daniel Roger Manuel Gonzales; and stepgrandchildren, Keegan, Kaylee, Felix, Naomi and Nellie. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
