Don Smith, age 56, of Manchester, Kentucky, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 12, 2026. He was born in Manchester on April 9, 1970, the son of the late Stanley Smith and Josephine Henson Smith.
Don worked as a group leader at ABC Automotive. He will be remembered with love by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He was a member of the Manchester Church of God, a devoted husband, and true child of God.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Smith; his daughter, Tabitha Jones and husband Randal of Manchester; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Jones, Rachel Jones, and Isaiah Jones; his brothers, Stanley Smith and Jerome Smith, both of Manchester; and his sister, Lisa England and husband Lloyd of Corbin. As well as the following niece and nephew: Danielle Smith (Billy) and Nick Jones. And a host of other great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Manchester Church of God.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Manchester Church of God, with George Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Creek Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.
