George Lee Ferguson Sr. (75) of Morningview, Ky, passed away on December 1, 2025, at at his home. He was born in Manchester, KY on February 26, 1950, son of the late Roy and Gladys Ferguson.
George was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, he had a passion for hunting and fishing as well as watching Kentucky basketball.
In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his grandson Lindsey Ferguson and several brothers. Survivors include his life partner Daisey Hudson, daughter Susan (Eric) Ferrell, son George (Chrissy) Ferguson Jr., sisters Sandy Conley, Grace Walters, Joyce Ferguson, brothers Ben, Donnie, Pete and Tommy Ferguson, grandchildren Kristopher, Grace and Kailin Ferguson, Nakia and Cole Ferrell.
Visitation will be held from 11 am- 1 pm on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at
Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Military service will immediately follow at 1 pm also at the funeral home. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to Disabled American Veterans at help.dav.org.
