Granville Reid, Jr., age 81, of Manchester, KY, passed away on January 10, 2026, at Saint Joseph Hospital in London, KY. He was born on July 22, 1944, in Manchester to Daisy and Granville Reid, Sr., both of whom preceded him in death.
Granville is survived by his loving wife, Aileen Smith Reid of Manchester, and his children: David Wayne Reid of Manchester, Susan Reid Fields (Troy) of Manchester, and Farrah Nichole McIntosh of Florida. He was a cherished great-grandfather to Alexander McIntosh.
He is also survived by his sisters: Phyliss Fields (Jennings) of Fogertown, Brenda Reid Crawford of Manchester, and Sandra Reid of Texas. Granville was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Shirley Reid, Bobby Reid, Kenneth Reid, Charles Reid, Peggy Marshall, Shelby Warren, and Leah Fisher.
He was also preceded in death by his sons, Logan Ray Marlow and Todd Tyron Marlow.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance at Britton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, with burial to follow at Reid Cemetery on Jarve Hollow.
Granville Reid, Jr. will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
