Norma B. Cook, age 86 of Nancy, KY passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at her residence. Norma was born on May 14, 1940 at Manchester, KY, the daughter of Clay Bowling and Beatrice Ard. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Norma worked at Russell Sportswear and later at Palm Beach Clothing. On January 13, 1960, Norma married Roy Chester Cook and they shared life for 57 years prior to his passing in 2017. She enjoyed watching TV westerns and movies, puzzles, selling and collecting Home Interiors, and she loved quilting and gardening.
Survivors include her two daughters, Glenda Duffy (Matt) of Somerset, KY and Janice Cook of Somerset, KY; two grandchildren, Matthew Daulton and Josh Daulton; and one great grandchild, Alizay Daulton; her brother, George Bowling of Cincinnati, OH; one sister, Darlene Tartaglio of Las Vegas, NV; extended family members, neighbors and friends who are saddened by her passing.
In addition to her parents, Clay Bowling and Beatrice Ard, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cook; brother Vernon Bowling (Jean); two brothers-in-law, Nick Tartaglio and Delmar Mason; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bowling; one nephew, Russell Bowling; and two nieces, Vickie Bowling and Debbie Bowling.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42503. Her funeral service will follow on Thursday, July 9th at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Harper officiating. Burial will be at Mill Springs National Cemetery, Nancy, KY.
