Rita Hubbard, 64, of London, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on June 20, 2026.
Born on August 3, 1961, Rita preferred a quiet life and found enjoyment in spending time outdoors, fishing, cooking, and caring for her beloved dogs, Junior and Hot-Rod.
She valued her independence and found comfort in the simple pleasures of life.
Rita was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Hubbard; her father, Leman Grubb; and her sister, Patricia Grubb.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Jackson and wife, Misty, and Chris Jackson and wife, Gerra; her brothers, Wayne Grubb and Leman "George" Grubb and wife, Renee; her sister, Carol Smith; and her grandchildren, Chris McNamara, Matthew McNamara, Teresa "Sissy" Jackson, Katelyn Jackson, Degan Jackson, Harlie Hoke, Ethan Gay, and Kaylee Gay. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Rita will be remembered by those who knew her for her strong-willed nature, her solitude, and the way she enjoyed the simple things in life.
In accordance with Rita's wishes, her family will honor her by asking for privacy and simplicity during their time of mourning. And asks that she be remembered by the joyful days that family and friends spent with her.
The family appreciates the thoughts and prayers extended during this time.
There will be no funeral at this time.
