CCMS Academic team shines!

The Clay County Middle School Academic team, led by coach Sandy Bowling, recently com-peted in the State Governor’s Cup in Louisville.

The school had three members place in state competition and finished 30th overall.

Silas Hyde had top 10 finishes in Science (9th) and Arts/Humanities (10th).

Bentley Hubbard placed 14th in Social Studies.

Kirk Napier finished 18th in Social Studies.

Coach Bowling says she is extremely proud of the hard work and dedication this team has shown this season.
