Manchester man caught with drugs

Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Matt Walker and Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Allen Ray Riley, age 25, of Manchester, on Saturday morning, March 16, 2024, at approximately 10:29 AM. The arrest occurred on Fariston Road, approximately 3 miles South of London, following a traffic stop conducted on a gray Honda Accord that was observed traveling at a high rate of speed along the narrow Road. In addition, the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. Deputy Walker initiated emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop. During the stop, the driver was determined to be under the influence and was found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Allen Ray Riley was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; driving on a DUI suspended license – first offense; possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia and other charges. This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center
