AdventHealth Manchester Radiology Department's Dave Owens Honored with Prestigious Sunflower Award for Q1 2024

The award ceremony took place on April 11, 2024, where colleagues and members of the AdventHealth leadership team gathered to honor Owens' achievements. Owens was also recognized for a recent act of compassion in the hospital cafeteria. When a young girl with a food voucher was unsure if it would cover her meal, Owens assured her to get anything she liked, offering to pay the difference. This gesture, emblematic of the service and kindness that the Sunflower Award celebrates, was met with a heartfelt smile and gratitude from the girl.
