Vestie Sizemore Ruth

Vestie Sizemore Ruth, 87, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 4th, at the Landmark of Laurel Creek Nursing Home.

Vestie was born in Beverly, KY on December 17, 1937, a daughter of the late Jack and Gertrude Holland Sizemore.

Vestie is survived by her husband, Roy Ruth of Manchester; her children: James Ruth of Manchester and Deania Ruth of Nashville, TN; and by her granddaughter, Whitney MaKayla Ruth (Keaton) of Richmond.

She is also survived by her brother and sisters: Lewis Sizemore of Manchester, Lucy Burton of Stanford, and Helen Dick of Cary, NC; her special sister-in-law, Ethel Sizemore; and by her special friends, Emma Keen and Carolyn Smith.

In addition to her parents, Vestie was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: James Farmer Sizemore, James Foster Sizemore, Earl Sizemore, Gladys Sizemore, and Edith Purcell.

Services were held on Sunday, June 8th at Britton Funeral Home, with Verlon Gray and David Bernard officiating. Burial will take place at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 8th at Manchester Memorial Gardens.
